Our diverse membership is composed of scientists representing the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, contract research organizations, regulatory agencies, academia, and consulting firms.
ACT fosters scientific exchange through myriad mechanisms designed to further the knowledge on applied toxicology and safety assessment. In addition to webinars and podcasts, ACT produces recognized educational events throughout the year that offer multi-day training in basic, advanced, or specialty toxicology, promoting career advancement and facilitating certification preparation.
Additionally, ACT publishes International Journal of Toxicology, which dually operates to offer publishing opportunities for researchers as well as to deliver cutting-edge, cross-disciplinary scientific data and opinions.
All these offerings culminate in the College’s flagship event, the November Annual Meeting. This hallmark gathering of scientists from around the globe delivers premier Symposia, Workshops, and Continuing Education courses on current safety issues and applied toxicology. The meeting also serves as a venue for professional networking, discussing regulatory issues, promoting novel science, and providing updates on current topics.
The commitment of the ACT membership to education, leadership development, and service continually propels the College forward and ensures an ever-evolving community of professionals at the forefront of the applied toxicology and safety assessment fields.
